I have always been too active/outdoorsy to keep my nails nice with regular nail polish, and can't afford regular salon visits, but I am guest-facing for work and wanted to look more put together so I gave this a try. It's been great! It took a long time the first time, but all subsequent dip applications have gone smoother and gotten easier. My nails are getting quite long, which has never happened before because I'm always doing outside activities and working with tools, but with the dip they are so strong! I'm also just enjoying the actual dip process so much, it's a fun and calming way to spend my time while listening to a pod. My non-dominant hand is definitely gaining dexterity since doing my nails regularly. All in all, my nails are longer, stronger, and always look good now :) Really glad I gave this a shot! I plan to get a different, thinner cuticle pusher, and a narrower emery board, and have supplemented the kit with a buffer block. Otherwise the tools it came with have been very user-friendly.

It comes with all the basic starting supplies, a few extra brushes and such, I just wish that it also came with a little card to explain specifically how to use the brush saver, do I dip the whole brush in? Do i soak it? Do I use the brush in the jar to brush it onto other brushes? A bit of guidance on that without making me trudge through the website/app video tutorials.

A quick start guide would also be nice to have in the box for those like myself who are new to dip powders, just a small thing that would tell you the basic of use jar x dip repeat until desired thickness/color use jar y to set, wait x time for powder to set, use jar z to seal and finish. My mom is looking at this set and is thinking about trying it but she is lost cause she grew up with classic nail polish basically one step repeated until desired opaque color, and fancy people seal with a top clear coat for extra protection.
