How long does it take to heat up?
Warming times will vary based on how much acetone is in the bowl and the ambient temperature of the room, but this shouldn’t take longer than 5-10 minutes. That’s why we recommend setting up the Magic Remover first before you start prepping and soaking your nails.
How is it different than a steamer removers?
Unlike a nail steamer, the Magic Soak Manicure Remover does not boil acetone, resulting in less odor. Steamer removers generally take longer and dry out the skin more due to higher temperatures. In a steamer, your nails don't directly touch the liquid acetone only the vapours, so it takes longer to work. The Magic Soak is more efficient especially for dip removal because the dip powder is agitated by rubbing against the paper towel. The Magic Soak is also easier to clean with its separate warming base and ceramic bowl design.
I don’t have acetone. Can I use regular nail polish remover?
No, you cannot. Unlike regular nail polish, dip powder and gel polish are long-lasting and can only be removed with a good quality cosmetic acetone. For best results, use Nailboo Pro Soak Acetone Remover or any other 100% pure cosmetic-grade acetone.
Is heating up acetone safe?
Gently heating the acetone is just as safe as using it at room temperature and has a benefit of working faster. Warm acetone removes coatings faster, limiting your exposure to the drying acetone.

Can it be used for both hands and feet?
