Shake the jar from side to side to allow more glitter pieces to come up to the top.
Apply Dip Base Coat
Apply a thin layer of Nailboo's Dip Base Coat.
Dip Nail Flat
Lay the nail flat into the powder. This will give you the most glitter coverage in one step.
Flatten Glitters
Lightly pat the glitter down with a wooden stick to lay it flat against the nail. You can also use a bag or a tool to lightly pat the glitter down to avoid contaminating the application with any natural oils from your bare fingers. Brush away any excess powder after the base has dried.
Encapsulate in Build Powder
Encapsulate the nail with Build Powder to protect the glitter from filing and buffing.
Apply Activator
Apply the Activator and wait for the powder to harden completely.
File And Shape
File and buff the surface.
Apply Activator
Apply a second coat of activator
Apply Top Coat
Wait 3-5 minutes after second activator coat, then apply 2 coats of Top Coat. Wait 2-3 minutes between coats.
You can use a Build Powder as a last layer of your manicure to encapsulate the glitters and to protect them from filing and buffing. Smooth the surface of the nail after activating using a buffer.
We recommend applying two coats of Top Coat. Use three quick strokes, floating the brush over the nail. Allow the first layer to dry for about 2-3 minutes before applying the second coat more precisely. Wait 3-5 minutes for nails to fully dry. This can vary based on temperature and humidity.
Remember to apply the Activator before the Top Coat and after filing. The activator is responsible for hardening the dip powder as well as the top coat.
Dip base coat and Top coat harden from contact with step 2 Activator, moisture(water), or long air exposure. Cross-contamination can happen from acetone getting in the bottles during cleaning, leftover Activator getting on a Top Coat Brush, or dip powder getting transferred to Base coat bottles. You should also avoid exposure of liquids to air for long periods.
