Nail Prep

Before you begin, start by prepping your nails. Gently push back your cuticles with the cuticle pusher. Healthy cuticles encourage healthy nail growth, so keep your cuticles healthy. Between manicures, apply cuticle oil to your cuticles, including the skin around your nails. Doing this keeps your skin and nails hydrated and healthy.

Safety

Choose a well-ventilated space to apply your manicure, preferably somewhere with a fan. Dip powder rarely causes skin or eye irritation, but it sometimes occurs in some people. Wear a face mask and glasses as a safety precaution while applying the dip powder to prevent dip flu. Turn on a fan to encourage air circulation and clean up your workspace after every manicure to prevent the migration of dust powder.

Step 1

Step one creates the foundation for your nails, provides strength to the nails, and allows for solid color adherence. Apply product to one nail at a time to ensure you complete a thorough step on each fingernail.

Build & Coat

Apply base coat liquid to the nail.
Dip the nail into the build powder.
Tap and brush the nail to remove any excess powder.
Repeat steps one through three on each nail.

Next, you apply the dip powder color in Wedding Cake as your base color.

Apply Nailboo base coat liquid to the entire nail.
Dip the nail into the Wedding Cake powder.
Tap and brush the nail to remove any excess powder from the nail.
Repeat steps one through three on each nail.

Gradient Rainbow Design

Now comes the fun part! Create your gradient rainbow design using multiple Nailboo powder colors.

Apply Nailboo base coat liquid to the nail.
Dip a nail brush into Nailboo powder color Ocean Glitz and sprinkle onto half of the lower half of your nail.
Sprinkle Nailboo Lucky Lime on the other side.
Repeat steps one through three on each nail, alternating different powder colors of your choice.
Repeat all steps on each nail for full-color coverage.

Add Sparkle

Add some sparkle to the part of your nails closest to the cuticle area.

Apply Nailboo base coat liquid to the area of your nail near the cuticle.
Sprinkle the Nailboo powder color Apollo Glow near the cuticle.
Repeat steps one and two on each nail.
Brush away the excess powder.

Step 2

Step two activates the dip powder by hardening it and sealing it in the colors.

Apply Nailboo activator liquid to each nail.
Allow the nails to dry thoroughly.
File and buff your nails with the four-way nail file.
Apply a second layer of activator liquid.

Step 3

Step three adds the glossy top coat that protects your nails from fading by acting as a UV filter.

Apply Nailboo top coat to each nail.
Allow to dry completely.
Apply a second layer of top coat to each nail.
Allow to dry thoroughly one last time.
